i don’t fit in anywhere. it’s not superficial - not my clothes
and not my hair
and i act like it don’t matter and pretend that i don’t care
but i don’t fit in anywhere
i remember back at school. melting into the walls.
staring out the window
an invisible boy runnin’ down the hall
helpless as a minnow trying to swim upstream
bumping into angry strangers
and an impossible american dream
i don’t fit in anywhere. i don’t fit in anywhere.
i pretend that it don’t matter and i act like i don’t care but...
can’t hide inside a bottle. can’t hide behind a guitar
can’t buy into the myth that what you do is who you are

The live stuff (CD2 'The Ghost Mills') onward is pretty damn excellent. While bringing up the styles reminiscent of all of our favorite jazz fusion bands of old and present, they add their own very original ingredients that makes them fresh and original. In a genre that finds a lot of similar bands PAKT will always leave you guessing and way more times than not, with a grin above your chin. peace [ps- live concert CD options?] tpace
