daddy’s in the basement. that’s where he belongs
dad’s down in the dungeon singing daddy songs
time to change the baby. time to clean the pot
time to make some dinner. daddy whatchu got? daddy whatchu got?
we can’t tell if he’s joking when he talks to hisself
he’s laughing ‘til he’s crying. we’re worried about his health
daddy’s lost his mind again. we think he’s got a gun
mother grab the children. how fast can you run? how fast can you run?
daddy’s in the basement. he’s coming up the stairs
he’s shaking and he’s sweating. he’s tearing out his hair
we’ve lost our dear old daddy. tonight he’s gonna pop
once we were so happy. now it’s all turned to rot. it’s all turned to rot

The live stuff (CD2 'The Ghost Mills') onward is pretty damn excellent. While bringing up the styles reminiscent of all of our favorite jazz fusion bands of old and present, they add their own very original ingredients that makes them fresh and original. In a genre that finds a lot of similar bands PAKT will always leave you guessing and way more times than not, with a grin above your chin. peace [ps- live concert CD options?] tpace
